BLOSSOM BLUFF ORCHARDS

For their produce section, I created small stickers with color combo variations to be used to differentiate between the different grow seasons. They're sitting on top of one of the Blossom Bluff tote bags I created. More photos to come on the reusable produce bag.

The grocery bags needed to be unique and have brand appeal, so I created four versions a shopper could end up with. A semi-important side note- I developed a stamp of the logo for store employees to use for easy and cost effective branding.

The blackberries packaging is simple and goes with their brand. Since Blossom Bluff would have their own store, cohesiveness of the look was very important to me. Also, if they ever expand enough to sell their produce in larger grocery stores, the branding would still be recognizable. (I'm not entirely happy with this design. I may rework it sometime in the next few months for my portfolio.)

Now... off to the second day of classes! My next class is with David Schirtzinger of Young Isaac & People To My Site. Then off to Joseph Baer. I haven't met either of them yet, but I've heard good things! Should be fun!

BLOSSOM BLUFF ORCHARDS

I wanted to give Blossom Bluff something unique to aid their branding message and push them a little further ahead of their competition. I designed these four simple graphic banners to be used on their kraft paper shopping bags as well as their reusable cloth bags. The reusable cloth bags would be (theoretically) sold near their produce section as a special point of purchase. If a customer decides to purchase a bag, they can fill it up with as many apples, oranges, peaches, and pears as they can for a nicely discounted price.

I aimed to make the bags desirable enough for customers to carry around on a daily basis and clever enough that they might spark a conversation with another potential customer, remembering word of mouth is one of the best methods of advertisement.

BLOSSOM BLUFF ORCHARDS

Here is the letterhead and all that jazz I did for Blossom Bluff.

I should mention that Blossom Bluff Orchards is indeed a real place. It's located in California and they have a website. I decided to redesign it based on what I found on the web. I have never talked to any of the Blossom Bluff owners and am not affiliated with them in any way. I hope they don't mind that I did this... eep...

More coming soon on this project. (It gets better!)

BLOSSOM BLUFF ORCHARDS

Here's a first look at a project I worked on last semester. We were asked to take an existing small business and rebrand it. I ended up doing everything from the stationary to the product packaging. Right now all I have is a few crummy photos pf the packaging, so I'm going to try and reshoot it sometime in the next week. Until then, here is the logo and patterns

This little guy was made as a secondary logo, so they would have something other than the full text version to use for smaller projects (for example, I used it on the produce stickers I did).

I kept the color scheme light and happy, but still versatile.

I created a few simple patterns that ended up being used on everything from the stationary to the store clerk apron patterns.
